Her Federal career ended in 2004 when she decided to launch out into the deep and start a book publishing business.  Her transition into this new endeavor shaped her entreprenuerial thirst.  But in 2008 when the recession hit, Janice slowly stepped back into the workforce, not as a Federal employee, but as a Human Resource contractor. This segway back into full time employment, though profitable, still did not meet her entreprenuerial vision of life.

In October of 2024, Janice, utilizing all of her previous experience and insight decided to push go on her idea of launching JMarie Consults.

With the many shifts that are happening in the traditional work environment, and more Federal employment options are becoming increasingly far and few, she knows that launching her signature HR consulting courses will be the catalyst for many who wish to pivot their options to meet a changing work environment. And, if necessary, reinvent themselves into a version of themselves that fits their passion and purpose.
